Critical mass thinking (11th Oct 2008)

Perhaps some of you will immediatly turn away from my blog at this point but a little something is whispering to me so I will blog about what’s in my mind right now.

I believe that we visualise what we want and where we want to go. I believe that if enough of us are focussing on the same subject that our collective energies will align and bring about huge changes either for good or bad outcomes.

For some of you that idea will resonate as prayer. Didn’t a wise man (and yes, I believed he lived, taught and was very wise) once say

“Whenever a group of you gather in my name” and “If you think the thought, then you have done the deed in your mind” (ok I haven’t typed word for word but I am sure that’s the gist of it)

So here is where I am going with this.

You only have to look at the huge number of bloggers in the World today focussing on the same thoughts; financial meltdown, preparedness, climate crisis and panic. This has been a natural response to what has happened in the last century. To me, it has almost been like seeing twin scales where for far too long one side has been weighed down on the ‘greed’ side. Lately more and more people have been thinking about the ‘fairness’ side and the scale has started to swing back dramatically.

I know that this is going to sound all very 1970’s hippyish but I am going to spend the next few weeks focussing my thoughts on

Peace

trust

love

No matter which religious path you follow (if any) will you join me? I am going to ground myself (pray) for peace within the world and within myself. Trust in myself and my preparedness and my ability to take care of those around me and lastly, perhaps the hardest one of all; love.

May the Goddess envelope you in her love and in her heart.

Well said, dear Crone! I’ve been having similar thoughts myself, and if we collectively build a gorgeous thought form, then that should be our future.

So let’s all trust that the universe will provide enough food for everyone and that people around the world will be able to be gainfully employed (paid or unpaid, as suits each individual’s needs). Let’s trust that there will be peace in the world and that people will learn to love each other, other creatures and the planet, irrespective of their individual beliefs.

love and light xx

I am with you on this, perhaps a little bit of positive energy would be better than all the negative exploits out there in the world.

I’ve just started reading the latest Clive Hamilton (Affluenza author) book “The Freedom Paradox”. Have only a read a little, but one of his early points is about the building critical mass of consumerist society discontents. It will take me a while to get through (major placenta brain happening), but am more than happy yto post it over to you after!

This sounds very much like the celestine Prophecy, a book I read about 12 years ago. collective thinking is a truly wonderful thing!

PS - thanks for the referral to your friend Michelle at Little Hero Hosting. I have been dealing with her and she is lovely !

Funny enough - have been focussing on the very same this last week or so. Must be a driving energy about gathering it’s kindred spirits.

I think it is more a case of “if you put it out there”
and if you put it out there, it is more likely to have something done about it by yourself (if something easy to achieve), and other things is just people jumping on the bandwagon.
Just watch some of the “Bullshit” episodes. They got a heap of people to sign a petition to ban water, just by calling it by its full chemical name (dihydrogen oxide) and saying it is bad for the environment. People believe what they are told, and will do whatever to make them feel less “guilt” = see carbon credit bullshit scheme.Anyway, I digress…
People essentially love to be led. They think they arent, but the subconscious is a delightful beast that can trick anyone. Hence why stuff spreads like wildfire on the internet.
Id better stop before I hit full blown rant mode.

Wow, I can get right off topic.
I think positive thought is a positive step toward change.
