I don't have a teapot! (July 29th 2009

No seriously, I don’t possess a teapot. Bit tricky when you want to sample some herbal teas that are being raved about in forumland. What to do, what to do? Scrub, clean and descale ye olde faithful coffee plunger to brew up a pot of “Lemon delight” from Wildflower Botanicals.

Go take a peek at what Meg has in store. I am also rather chuffed with the herbal hair colour I am now sporting thanks to WFB :) Did I mention that I have lopped off nearly all of my shoulder length hair? It’s been so amazingly liberating that I don’t think I will ever go back to long hair again.

Hey L!! You know what? I have a beautiful old copper(circa mid to late 1970s) teapot. The kind you sit on top of a stove. It has a strainer where the spout is. BUT…I don’t drink tea! At all. I love the teapot because its old and its copper. But me having it is a waste. Would you like it?

Awwwww that would be lovely Eilleen! Many, many thanks my love

Kylie: I’ve just fixed the link.

Cat: LOL at Gonnohorrea! I call it the Gal-air-rea after hearing some ‘interesting types’ say that they were going to meet up there before heading to the Pub. I must work on this ‘judgement’ issue I have.

I have to say I specifically bought a coffee plunger for tea when I saw it at the Op shop. It worked fabulously well until I did my normal trick of filling up my desk space to the extent that adding on thing tips something else off… end of glass plunger

Oh well, I am sure I will have another turn up before long.

Kind Regards
Belinda

I must be the Queen of Teapots then lol. I have 9 in all, 7 vintage china ones, Auntie’s old steel one(sentimental value) and our everyday round, brown one although I only ever use it for brewing green tea. well done on yr improvision using the cafetiere!!

Did you literally cut your own hair? If so let’s have a tute pls….I hate hair, react badly to any shampoo and am using the no-poo regime. A friend recovering from chemo says that she’ll never let hers grow beyond an inch again….she sports “flat caps”, beautiful scarves and warm woolly hats with such flair! My Hubby is clean shaven too

Lara, did you end up getting a teapot? I found another one in my house today (that brings me up to 3!) so am going to toss the ceramic one.
If you want it, let me know on FB and I will bring it on Sat : )
