Wet behind the ears or getting your feet wet? (10th March 2009)

Are you in denial about Global Warming or are you seriously considering relocating before you can fish from your back porch?

What year will coastal property values crash?

This blog is one I am going to make The Husband read if I have to stand over him and threaten violence to make him do so (although to be perfectly honest, I could possibly entice him in other ways with a better result ).

Edited to add:

The Husband’s words of wisdom; “L, this is never going to happen in our lifetime”

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

we’re around 700m asl so I guess that’s some comfort, but eventually the sea would be at the foot of our mountain… so we’d be virtually coastal = cyclones, more weather changes etc. In the meantime we appear to be permanently in drought and have had water supply hovering around 10% for years… I’m not really sure that I can prepare much more than what we are doing now; teach my children, keep learning myself. That blog is more than I can take in at once, but thanks for the link Crone!

Ahh yes… it’s never going to happen in our lifetime rational. His lifetime, or the kids?

I seem to remember they said that at one point “they” said Arctic summer ice was projected to survive until 2050 too.

{Don’t mind me, yep I am going through a frustrated bitchy stage atm}

Kind Regards
