Your all time favourite edibles please!

I am really trying to rise above my anxiety about Peak Oil right now. So to be positive and affirming and pro active I am asking you to all leave me a message letting me know your five favourite no fail edible plants and seeds please!

They can be trees, herbs or vegetables.

You can also post one 'bring cheer to my soul plant' to inspire me!

Here's my list:

1. Silverbeet
2. Potatoes
3. Snow peas
4. kale
5. Spring onions

For my soul:

Jasmine.

Favourite edibles:
1. Snowpeas
2. Beans
3. Potatoes
4. Tomatoes
5. Pears (not so much a fav, as something that just keeps producing, no matter how much I neglect it).

And for my soul - roses. They seem to thrive on neglect, the lack of water doesn't seem to matter too much, and pruning them is great therapy when I'm at the end of my tether. They don't mind if I prune them at the wrong time of the year, and just keep rewarding me with beautiful blooms.

Five favourite edibles:
Figs
Raspberries
Sugar snap peas
Broccoli
Herbs

For the soul:
Bulbs - if you plan it right, you can have blooms most of the year and if you mulch it right, you don't have too many weeds (but don't look at my front garden right now!)

xx
