Checking out my seed stash

It's time for me to see just what I have in my seed stash so that I can plant, plan and acquire.

Oakleaf lettuces (my own gathered seeds)
Riesentraube tomatoes
Amaranth
Purple carrots
Edible Chrysanthemum
Scotch Kale
Kohl rabi
Beetroot
Shallots
Kang Kong
Mizuna
Lockyer onion
Gladalan Onions
asparagus
something called edible rape
Chinese white radish

I will check out the moon planting guide on Nature Witches blog for the times to plant successfully. I also found some galangal in the grocery store yesterday so have bunged that in a pot. Let's see if that will grow for the growing challenge :)

Nice stash you've got there :)Edible rape is canola. It can be used fairly young as a green veg, or harvest the seeds and extract their oil. :)

Can I ask where you got the Amaranth seeds? I thought I saw some ages ago in the Eden Seeds range and since then haven'tbeen able to get hold of any. Is it out of season/planting time at the moment?
Also re your swap idea - sounds great. My stuff is only starting out but down the track I'd be very happy to share. You're in WA so we can't be too far from each other. I'm in the Hills (east of Perth) are you close to Perth, South or North?

Hey Nathalie,

I got the Amaranth from Eden seeds and just did a check and they have some atm.

I am located a few km's from Midland, so not too far from you.

Thanks for that! Just heard from Molly she's not far either so maybe we'll get together sometime for a coffee and plant swap?
