Hardworking Hippy (La Ferme de Sourrou) has posted about the herb Stevia. Of course this has now got me on a mission to find the seed of this sugar substitute herb. All of my children get terrible eczema when they eat foods high in sugar so I try to look for natural 'sweeties' for them.

I have the liquid form, bought from a health food shop.
Seeds, I want seeds! I think I have found a place in Qld which sells seed but I need to contact them to see if they will post to WA.
Lara,
Floraland in Glen Forest has this plant - you can buy a small pot of the herb for about $4.
Nat :)
Forgot to mention - you can also get it in powder form from most health shops - but be warned you need the most MINISCULE amount - so small you think 'That's ridiculous it obviously won't taste any different' because the powder is really potent.
Thank you for that Nat! Off to see where Glen Forest is on google :)
Hi Crone....what a good mother you are.....my daughter had eczema as a child, still suffers now when stressed.
I hope you find what you are looking for........
Video....love it....
Lovely blog! Blessings to you.
I've been reading about it lately Lara, let me know how you find it? Hubby is diabetic so I am looking into whether this is a viable healthier alternative for him
Blessings:)

Lara - Scrap what I said - it's actually in Mahogany Creek (sorry - it's so close I thought it was Glen Forest).
If you know where Midland is - then head up the Hills on Great Eastern Highway, it'll be on your left (about 18 mins from the Roe Hwy lights).
Call them first though to make sure it's in stock.
Good luck!
