Rising food costs in the Northern Hemisphere due to drought
We're not immune to this here. I'm sure we're going to see a steep increase in the cost of food.
What's really scary though is the rate at which we're becoming dependent on just two stores; Coles and Woolies. What happens when they stop keeping prices down and there is no longer any competition from smaller local retailers? Yep, we'll be forced to buy from one of those two. At the prices they want to set.
