We'll be brewing up a lager this year - we've mostly done ales and mead in the past 10 years as well as more cider (we sweeten with brown sugar sometimes) and I am super jealous of your currently freakishly bountiful garden! I'm still staring at little squares of soil willing sprouts to emerge.
