How is my new eating/exercise plan going?
Well three days in and I am doing ok. I started full of good intentions on Friday and popped an exercise video on. Thirty minutes of low impact squats, leg lifts and lunges later....
Couldn't move on Friday night and I had to roll out of bed on Saturday morning. I will be doing some more today but perhaps reminding myself that slow and steady wins the race.
I think that I am having a major sugar withdrawal, headaches and a huge craving for chocolate iced doughnuts. I've upped the water and my kidneys must feel like they are about to burst their membranes!
Now Crazy Mumma has suggested a support group for all of us wanting to do this spring clean of our bodies, let's go hassle her to start up an offshoot on her blog, WDYT?

A support group sounds good. I can probably run it if Julie doesn't have the time...
I suspect right now I am going to need all the support I can get my house in order on this one.

I too need a heap of support but don't want to sign up for a "buy this little packet meal/shake shake shake" type of gig, you know!
Keep up the good work. You are at one of those points in your life to make that decision. One is easy now and hard later (do nothing), the other is hard now and easy later (get fitter & healthier). It's hard now, but much more rewarding later. Keep up the good work!
Always remember this time and how hard it is to get back into shape so you don't fall backwards. It's much easier to maitain fitness that regain it.

Excellent, more starters! The more the merrier ;-) I don't care who "runs" it either, maybe we could start a separate blog where we all contribute and post our issues/thoughts/progress?
Funny how spring makes you want to spring clean and declutter everything isn't it! I'm drinking more water and trying to be better about taking my iron and multi-vits too. You would have gathered extra weight isn't my prob Crone, but having a high metabolism means I drain of energy fast so it has it's downside too.
OK now I have to ask re: the Lawsonia - did you read my note on the seed swap first or is this just a freaky coincidence? I was stunned when I saw your post here today.
